EP THE STORY SO FAR: A "baby" band by many standards, the year-old Shipshape And Bristol Fashion are already brandishing their brutal riffage and throat acrobatics around California. Having played a date of 2007's Warped Tour as well as the inaugural Cornerstone Festival in California, SABF are planning a two-week trek up and down the western third of the U.S. this month "When people go to our shows, we want them to remember us not only for our music, but for our live performance," says guitarist Ricky Doll. WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW 'EM: Last month, Shipshape released their debut EP, produced by Kris Comeaux (Lorene Drive). Since honing their onstage chops playing with the Chariot, Misery Signals and Greeley Estates, the quintet hope to continue developing their sound and contributing to the heavy scene they call home.
