HQ: Los Angeles, CA NOW PLAYING: Revolutions EP THE STORY SO FAR: As more bands are proving, you don't have to be in the same studio--or state, for that matter--to write an album. When friends Andrew Capra (vocals/guitar) and Adam Bialik (guitar/vocals) began sending demos across California in 2007, they knew they were onto something and decided to meet in San Francisco for a two-week laptop recording session. "The result was an EP greater than we imagined," enthuses Capra about Brave Citizens' debut EP, Revolutions. WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW 'EM: Brave Citizens garnered loads of internet buzz for their sometimes-ambient, sometimes-arena rock music--but all before they'd played a single show. Since their debut last January at Hollywood's Knitting Factory, BC plan to continue touring and leaving good impressions wherever they can.
