HQ: Sicklerville, NJ
NOW PLAYING: Your Sweet Uncertainty
THE STORY SO FAR: When the Early November broke up in 2007, drummer Jeff Kummer turned to two grade school friends--bassist Mike Klemish and vocalist/guitarist Stephen Nakovich. Three years earlier, the trio had formed Your Sweet Uncertainty as a side project while Kummer continued TEN and Klemish and Nakovich played in Finding Westerly. "We wound up writing 10 songs that we felt would make a great record," says Klummer. "We decided to get ourselves in the studio and do it for real this time."
WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW 'EM: When YSU initially regrouped, they chose the moniker Grace Period. However, when the band, which also include guitarist Sean Norris, found out the Grace Period already existed, they re-christened their earlier name. "We went back to something we felt had been left unfinished," Klummer says. Having played gigs with All Time Low and looking forward to LP No. 2, it seems YSU's business won't go unfinished for long.
