HQ: Milwaukee, WI NOW PLAYING: Assorted demos THE STORY SO FAR: Recognize guitarist Andrew Balfour from his 2007 stint in Hopesfall? If not, expect to hear more from him and his brother, guitarist/vocalist Adam, and their band, Hail Archer. Born from the remains of Fourth Effect, the Balfour brothers say they're intent on getting the word out that Milwaukee has a lot to offer. "Building a buzz behind a band with no real previous status is proving to be a bit more organic and natural," says Andrew. "I really enjoy letting the music speak for itself." WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW 'EM: Hail Archer are gearing up to release their first EP this spring, and they've scheduled U.S. and Canadian dates. Plus, with their atmospheric soundscapes, raw vocals and dueling guitars, no one member will be snaring the spotlight.
