Say It Twice

HQ: Tallahassee, FL
NOW PLAYING: Jetset Trends EP (myspace.com/sayittwicerock)

THE STORY SO FAR: When childhood friends John Schaefer (vocals/guitar), Matthew Eustace (guitar) and Carlos Cacciamani (bass) began bouncing rudimentary covers off their garage walls at the age of 12, their parents might have pulled them right out of sixth grade if they knew the EP they'd release in 2007 would be the No. 1 seller on Smartpunk.com among both unsigned and signed bands. Of course, they still needed Matthew Farmer (keyboard/guitar) and Philip Derochemont (drums/samples) to complete the lineup, but that's just nit-picking...

WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW 'EM: Sure they've opened for From First To Last and All Time Low, but unless the members of this ambitious indie dance-pop outfit bought all those copies of their CD themselves, you might already know 'em and their Mute Math-meet-Shiny Toy Guns meld. "We break the barrier between 'scene' edge and mainstream pop," says Eustace.
