THE STORY SO FAR: Once Italian metalcore four-piece A Breach On Heaven started playing shows in 2006, they essentially didn't stop until two years later. Losing a guitarist last year didn't stop them from pushing forward, either. "From that moment to present day, we've been working on new material," says bassist Giovanni Cappellotto. Standby Records released ABOH's debut full-length, Through The Mirror, in 2008, but the band find themselves again in need of a home. "We think the most important thing for a band like us is to learn something new in every little step."
WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW 'EM: Wielding a ferociously melodic take on screamo, A Breach On Heaven are among the best Southern metalcore bands who have never lived anywhere near the southern U.S. Still, they've got the attitude down. "We're raw, we smell bad and we're ugly," says Cappellotto. "If you guess which one of us smells the worst, you can win a T-shirt."
