Since calling it hiatus in 2008, it almost seems like Philly pop-punks the Starting Line have grown in popularity. So this new live CD/DVD almost seems prophetic. Somebody's Gonna Miss Us features audio from the band's final show at the Bamboozle in 2008, along with a DVD chronicling the band's history up through their last tour. Something (not-so-subtle hints from frontman Kenneth Vasoli) tells us this might not be the last you hear from TSL, though...

First of all, it's a Pixar flick, so you know it's quality. Second of all... well, you really only need that first reason to buy Up. The story follows a grumpy old man and an eager young boy who fly to South America in a house suspended by balloons. Come on, we've all been through that.

4. GAME: Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

What? You don't already have this one? Sure, this crazy-anticipated sequel only came out Tuesday, but it reportedly shattered opening-day sales records held by Grand Theft Auto IV. Featuring amazingly lifelike graphics, intense storylines and a massive multiplayer mode, Modern Warfare 2 deserves a spot in the tray of your respective gaming device now. (And should stay there for a while.)

5. BOOK: Under The Dome by Stephen King

It's comforting to know that even Stephen King gets writer's block. His latest novel-the gargantuan Under The Dome--is based on an idea that the wordsmith tried to work with twice before in the '70s and '80s. Unlike the social comedy of King's work like Needful Things, Under The Dome is more like The Stand in its depiction of people who are cut off from the society they've always belonged to. If you need a novel to last you through New Year's, this is it.
