News of the Get Up Kids playing a reunion show this coming Sunday, November 16th in their hometown of Kansas City, MO has leaked courtesy of The Kansas City Star music blog Back To Rockville.

It'll be the band's first show since their July 2005 breakup following their farewell tour. No word from the band on what this particular reunion show will lead to, but frontman Matt Pryor has hinted at the possibility of Vagrant releasing a 10th anniversary edition of 1999's fan-favorite Something To Write Home About.

The show will take place 8:00 P.M. at Record Bar. Admission is $10 and Chris Tolle (of Lawrence, KS's the Belles) will open.

Speaking of reissues, the band's 1997 debut, Four Minute Mile, will be repressed on colored vinyl and released by Doghouse December 9th.

In related news, if there happens to be any Long Islanders happening to drive to Missouri, oh, Saturday night, AP should be contacted immediately.
