AMON AMARTH ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM & TOUR DATES

Swedish Viking-metal powerhouse Amon Amarth have completed work on their long-awaited new full length Twilight of the Thunder God. The album is set to drop in North America on September 30 via Metal Blade. In preparation for the new release, Amon Amarth will begin the North American Twilight of the Thunder God Tour October 1. The band will also be a part of The Unholy Alliance: Chapter III European Tour as well as their own "Bloodshed Over Bochum" in which the band will play one of their first four albums in its entirety each night along with a best-of mix from Fate of Norns (2004), With Oden On Our Side (2006) and the upcoming album. MARK ROSE (SPITALFIELD) POSTS NEW SONG

No word from Rose yet on a proper debut release.

NATIONAL PRODUCT DROP VIDEO, ANNOUNCE FALL TOUR

Orange County's National Product premiered their video for, "Medicated" yesterday on Buzznet. Shot in Chicago and on Lake Michigan's shores, the video was inspired by Rock Band and Pixy Stix. "Medicated" will run on Swingfool.com for 8 days, beginning today.

The band will begin their "Endless Summer" tour in support of their R&M Artists full length, Luna, with 1997. The tour is sponsored by Absolute Punk and will kick off on August 14th. Check out dates listed below.

SIDE-PROJECT DUO MAGNETIC MORNING PREPARE FOR FALL TOUR

Made up of Interpol's Sam Fogarino and Swervedriver's Adam Franklin, dream-pop project Magnetic Morning are off on their first tour after releasing their debut self-titled EP in April on DH records.

"When we first worked together we had no real idea of what things would sound like or what direction it would take, but very quickly an overall sound and style aesthetic developed which I can't quite specify; but there's a kind of melancholic, reflective, walking-off-into-the-sunset side to it," explains Franklin.

The duo plans to record their full-length this August in Athens, Georgia, a release date still pending. In the meantime, catch Magnetic Morning on tour this fall, dates listed below.

ONE DAY AS A LION (RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, EX-THE MARS VOLTA) DEBUT NEW SONG

One Day As A Lion, who recently inked with Anti- and consist of Rage Against The Machine frontman Zack de la Rocha and Jon Theodore, former drummer for the Mars Volta, have debuted a new song. You can check out "Wild International" at their MySpace page.

The song will appear on their self-titled debut EP, due out July 22.
