Altpress Exclusive: Blink-182 shows in Cleveland and St. Louis canceled

Alternative Press - Tim Karan on 9/1/09 @ 3:12 PM - altpress.com

A representative for Weezer has revealed to Altpress.com that tomorrow night's Blink-182 concert--featuring Weezer and Taking Back Sunday as openers --has been canceled. Blink-182 didn't perform at last night's show in Saratoga, New York, due to the death of DJ AM, but the other bands still went on.

Earlier today, Taking Back Sunday guitarist Eddie Reyes posted to his Twitter account that he is at home in Sandusky, Ohio, and will not return to the tour until this Friday in Kansas City, further adding fuel to the rumor that the St. Louis date has also been canceled. While we've yet to receive an official, on-the-record confirmation, we're calling this one as canceled, too.

No word on refunds or possible rescheduling yet.
