The four apostles of the backing gang vocal.
Seventh Star - The Undisputed Truth
[2/5]
Seventh Star are another in the seemingly infinite queue of bands churning out metallic hardcore in the name of the man upstairs. Though anyone who hasn't been living in the Antarctic since Hatebreed's Satisfaction Is The Death Of Desire and Machine Head's Burn My Eyes has probably heard this thing a million times over. Despite Facedown Records unofficially christening 2007 "the year of Seventh Star," there isn't a second of originality on Truth, unless borrowing the occasional Crowbar riff is considered innovative. The issue then becomes whether or not Seventh Star ply their trade well or not. Here's the real undisputed truth about The Undisputed Truth: Dependable but dull. Drummer Shawn Douglas puts on quite a crafty show, and the gang vocals are so overused and abused that having a crew holler monosyllabically at you every 10 seconds can't be anything but entertaining. Otherwise, it's an average helping of the same old, same old. (FACEDOWN) Kevin Stewart-Panko
