Reno 911!: Miami

On Comedy Central, the only thing that prevents the Cops-spoofing Reno 911! from achieving maximum hilarity is the censor-enforced lack of swearing and nudity. But on the big screen, the members of the bungling Reno sheriff's department have free reign to curse, masturbate and get shit-faced before taking it all off. (Well, maybe not all of it, but way too much of it, anyway.) After traveling to Miami for a law enforcement convention, short-shorts enthusiast Lt. Jim Dangle (Lennon) and his painfully inept squad of neo-Keystone cops find themselves policing the entire city when "terrorists" unleash a poisonous gas in the convention center and the entire Miami PD is quarantined inside. Garant (the film's director, who also plays dipshit Deputy Travis Junior) co-wrote the script with Lennon and Kenney (who plays Deputy Trudy Wiegel); and while it isn't as much of a pants-pisser as we were hoping it would be, Reno 911!: Miami is still pretty fucking funny-despite Paul Rudd and Patton Oswalt's goofy turns as a low-rent Tony Montana and Miami's "Deputy Assistant Mayor," respectively. Luckily, cameos from Michael Ian Black, David Koechner, Danny DeVito, Paul Reubens and (especially) The Rock make up for it-not to mention the impeccable performances of Reno's fake-finest, who are, as always, brilliantly incompetent. -J.
