Adult Swim's late-night cartoon about the adventures of a talking milkshake, a flying box of french fries and a rancid meatball living together in New Jersey has been made into a feature-length film. When Master Shake, Frylock and Meatwad hit the big screen in a quest to find the missing piece to a stolen exercise machine, they unwittingly trigger an intergalactic disaster of ridiculous proportions, complete with appearances from the show's usual suspects (Carl, the Mooninites, the Plutonians, the Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past, MC Pee Pants) and a small gaggle of special guests (Evil Dead's Bruce Campbell, SNL's Fred Armisen, Rush drummer Neil Peart). Of course, it's only a matter of time before shit gets weird-Dr. Weird. None of it makes any sense (it's not supposed to), and the movie could easily be about 15 minutes shorter, but if you smoke enough weed, you just might have the same epiphany that ATHF creators Maiellaro and Willis had seven years ago at the Cartoon Network: The animated adventures of a talking milkshake, a flying box of french fries and a rancid meatball probably shouldn't make sense-as long as they're funny.
