We all know Tom DeLonge of Blink-182 and Angels & Airwaves has a particular interest in extraterrestrial life and UFOs. His research and interest in the subject led to the development of the To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science which recently released a controversial video of an unidentified aerial phenomena.

Check out the footage of the unidentified aircraft below.

TTS Academy, which was founded by President and CEO Tom DeLonge, is a “consortium of scientists, aerospace engineers and creatives” who will work together and give “gifted” researchers the freedom to explore exotic science and technologies. Basically, it’s a way for the global science community to explore the topics that have been previously under-explored or unexplored—including extraterrestrial life.

Now, two months after the New York Times posted an exposé on the Pentagon's mysterious UFO program, TTS Academy have released an authentic DoD video titled "Go Fast" that captures an unidentified aircraft flying at low altitude.

The footage was captured using a F/A-18 Super Hornet ATFLIR forward-looking infrared system and reveals a previously undisclosed Navy encounter that occurred off the East Coast in 2015.

The video can be viewed on the TTS Academy Community of Interest site by clicking here.

The site also features an analysis of the video by TTS Academy's Aerospace Division Director Steve Justice, National Security Affairs Advisor Chris Mellon and Director of Global Security & Special Programs Luis Elizondo.

DeLonge's To The Stars is composed of Science, Aerospace and Entertainment divisions, with the entertainment aspect aiming to educate and inspire curiosity in science. Oh, and remember that Strange Times movie DeLonge announced last year? That's one of TTS Academy's current projects
